About Birth is about creating positive birth experiences.

I am Meagan Thompson, born and raised, and raising my own in Kentucky.

I began work as a doula in 2017 and have grown immensely as a birth professional and human since then. While I am happy to share more about myself when we meet, the truth is that your birth experience is not about me. I have worked with so many different types of folks and served them equally well.

My desire for every pregnant person to find a doula with the right combination of experience, personality, and style of practice led me to start About Birth, LLC. I believe that doulas are incredible partners to help create positive birth experiences.  I’d love to explore how we can work together to make this happen for you!
